Now that you know how well you are being ‘stalked’ while using the Internet, you will be equally happy to learn that you can ensure your Internet privacy by clearing your history tracks. To ensure your privacy protection, it is better to develop a habit of clearing your history tracks every time you use your computer.
However, you have to realize that it is not that easy to eliminate Internet and computer history files as the computer doesn’t store all history files in a single place. Clearing Internet history, cookies and cache is not sufficient to provide you with the required Internet privacy.
Manual deletion of history track is not always possible
Sometimes, it is not possible to manually delete some history tracks.
You have to use special software to help you delete these tracks as they are stored in various system areas. This is because this information is usually not visible by standard means and cannot be deleted manually.
Moreover, if you attempt to clear history tracks manually, you will find that this routine takes up too much of time. Some history files like index files used for storing Internet history, Internet cache and cookies cannot be deleted manually.
Only references get deleted
And if you do delete them, these files don’t actually get deleted as it is only its references to them that get deleted. It is in your hard drive where all the actual files remain, and this is where intruders can go to find out all about your web surfing history.
For complete online privacy protection, you have to install one of the many clear history software found on the Internet. These types of software work at effectively deleting all your personal information, cookies, Internet cache, temporary Internet files as you surf the Internet. You are then assured complete protection of your personal information from the eyes of a third person, and an outsider.
