I find there's a lot of cheating going on on my job, so I believe that 40% of men meet their other woman at work.

Comment on Printer Monitor at Home or at Small Office by Earthtone Spokesperson

How right you are that printing supplies are a huge cost for small businesses and, when you want to print something formal - in color, or with lots of charts and graphs - you might not even have the right equipment.

Your readers might be interested to learn about a new online service soon to be launched which will give small businesses, or individual consumers, an easy way to shop around for the most convenient, best value print service provider wherever they are - even if they're on the road.

The platform, called Earthtone (www.earthtone.net), works essentially the way Expedia works for the travel industry. Consumers can select from a wide range of options how they want their sophisticated print jobs to look, essentially putting it out for bid. In addition, unlike some online-only printing services, consumers can pick up their print jobs the same day they're sent, and can even proof them in person before they're sent to final print.

Our research shows that 94% of knowledge workers consider the printer to be essential office technology. But when the printer in your office is meeting your needs, or when you're on the road and need to print something urgently, where do you turn?

We'd be interested in previewing the new platform with you to get your feedback prior to launch. If you'd be willing, please contact our publicists: earthtone@bando.com.

There are much better and less intrusive ways to a)monitor employee computer usage habits and b)restrict certain activities. A key-logger is probably the worst possible route to take in any business given that it is a MAJOR breach in privacy. If I'm on my lunch break on MY time and decide to check my banking, all of a sudden you have all my banking information at your disposal. Or I write a personal e-mail using my personal email address, you now have the contents of that email.

Probably the best way to ensure employees are making productive use of their computers is to hire a GOOD IT representative. Access restrictions can be put in place for web browsing, applications used locally on the computers, and limits put on just about everything you can do on a computer with little to no investment in technology.

And has anyone ever heard of hiring honest employees? And using the honor system? Seriously.

The spyware will track everything you do and will run on the background of your computer and it will gather more and more information. A number of jurisdictions have passed anti-spyware laws, which usually target any software that is surreptitiously installed to control a user's computer. Amazing site! I found your site very interesting. Thanks!
