Welcome to Inside Chat Spy
Inside Chat Spy is an invisible, easy to use surveillance application, designed to monitor and record all chat conversations on a computer.
Perfectly suited for both office and home use Inside Chat Spy offers detailed information on who uses your computer and their chat conversations.
Inside Chat Spy displays reports in web format or secretly sends them to a specified e-mail address.
When running, Inside Chat Spy is not visible in Program Files and Task Manager. For extra security Inside Chat Spy has a password protected interface and hot-key combination for accessing the application. Also all recorded information is stored in a secret, encrypted file.
In order to properly use Inside Chat Spy, make sure that your computer meets the following requirements:
- Operation System: Windows 2000/XP/2003
- Internet Explorer: IE 5.0 or later, Opera, Mozilla, Avant or Netscape
- 486 CPU or higher
- 32 MB RAM
- 20 MB free disk space
- Internet Connection
Once you have downloaded the product, please run the setup. Make sure you choose "Run" on the Microsoft Security Warning.
Press "Next" to begin the installation.
Inside Chat Spy has been successfully installed on your computer. Press "Next" to finish the installation and launch Inside Chat Spy.
Each time you want to hide Inside Chat Spy main window, press the icon located in the right upper corner.
To show Inside Chat Spy main window press the shortcut combination key. Which for default is Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C
To start Inside Chat Spy you need to insert your password. The default password is "user".
Status section informs the user on the application status, whether it is monitoring or not monitoring all activity. It also shows the default user that is monitored. The interface has ten quick buttons for having instant access to day's reports. The buttons on this area allow you to start or stop monitoring computer activity.

The Reports window offers a detailed image about the chat conversations, the users that chatted and the applications that were used to send instant messages.
Select an IM application from the list of IM applications if you want to view the reports only for that IM application.
Select user from the user list of if you want to view the reports only for that user.
Here you can adjust all settings related to security, report delivery and logging activity.
In this area you can configure your own hot key and password needed to unhide application,
password and set whether to start when OS starts.
To change password: click change password; a new dialog opens where you can insert the old passwords, then the new one,
to confirm the new password, type it once again then press OK to save or CANCEL to reset changes.
Reports can be delivered by email at a specified email address, letting the user set the frequency of these reports.
In order not to occupy space with unneeded logs, you can set Inside Chat Spy to delete old logs after specified a period of time.

To save disk space, Inside Chat Spy can set periods for deleting old logs that are no longer necessary.
To enable this option, check the Delete logs box, then insert the period after which you intend to have the logs deleted.
Press APPLY to save changes.
Inside Chat Spy has as trial period of five days. After expiration Inside Chat Spy will no longer monitor the chat conversations nor will send any reports. To register your product, please purchase a licensing key. Press the BUY button to complete the purchase. You will receive via email the key and instructions. The new key allows you to monitor Instant Messengers for a period of 365 days form the moment the key was generated. After receiving the key, save the file on your desktop or on your hard drive, start Inside Chat Spy, select the License option and press Add License button.
Browse for the license file in the location when you have saved it and press the Open Button. Your licensed copy of Inside Chat Spy is running.
If the license key is valid you should see your name and email address and LICENSED COPY.
Since this application runs in stealth mode, it is not visible in Add/Remove Programs or Task Manager so in order to uninstall it, please press the Uninstall button on the left side of the interface and follow the instructions.
Inside Chat Spy no longer runs on your computer.
